This is a reminder that there will be a virtual YLA session tomorrow: Saturday, October 17, 2020 from 9:00 am - 11:00 am on Zoom. 

There will also be a parent meeting tomorrow on Zoom from 10:30 am - 11:30 am.

12th Grade Cadets & Parents: VERY IMPORTANT

You should have received an email from your mentor regarding the FAFSA session this Saturday. This is a very important session, so please be sure to have your parent(s) attend this session with you. This will count as a "parent meeting" for 12th grade parents. Parents should be sure to have their SSN and 2019 income taxes handy, as this information will be needed for FAFSA completion.

 

YLA $50 gift card pick up

Thanks to a generous grant the YLA received from Elgin Township, we will be giving each YLA family a $50 gift card for use on groceries at Jewel Osco. Please note that families with more than cadet in the program will only receive one $50 gift card. Linda, one of our YLA Parent Coordinators, has volunteered to help distribute the gift cards. The first distribution was earlier today. If you were unable to pick up your gift card, do not worry, there will be another pick up day scheduled for next week. We will send out that information once a date and a time has been selected. We hope that these grocery store gift cards will help you and your families!

YLA Website and forms
We are aware that there are still some issues with the YLA website and online forms, and we apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. We are working hard to make sure everything is functioning properly, and we hope to have this completed very soon. We really appreciate your patience and understanding as we try to work through these issues. And thank you to all of the parents who have already submitted forms!
